Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant serves as the International Grand Basileus of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, guiding one of the nation’s most distinguished sisterhoods into a new era of innovation, visibility, and financial strength.

Born on October 4, 1970, in Albany, New York, Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant was raised by her parents, Neville Clarke and Fay Rhoden, who instilled in her a deep sense of purpose, faith, and service.
A proud graduate of St. John’s University in Queens, New York, Dr. Grant earned her B.A. in Sociology, Pre-Law in 1992. While there, she made history as the founding president of the university’s chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, laying the foundation for a lifetime of service and leadership within the sisterhood she still proudly represents today.
A serial entrepreneur and purpose-driven visionary, Dr. Grant has spent more than two decades helping others turn potential into purpose. She founded C&G Enterprises, a leadership training organization, in 1994, and went on to establish several other ventures, including C&G Professional Event Coordinators (1996), Destiny Designers University™ (2014), and C&G Enterprises Unlimited, LLC (2016). Her signature philosophy—“Action, Action Despite the Distraction”—became the title of her acclaimed book published in 2016, inspiring readers worldwide to live their destiny with focus and faith.
Her voice as a motivational speaker and leadership expert has been sought by countless organizations, including Black Women of Influence, Medgar Evers College, the New York City Department of Education, the New York Urban League, the Rainbow PUSH Wall Street Summit, and the Women’s Academy of Excellence.
Dr. Grant’s community footprint extends across civic, corporate, and nonprofit spaces. She has served on or led numerous organizations, including the Workshop in Business Opportunities, the Cambria Heights Civic Association, the Queens District Attorney’s African American Advisory Board, Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and Achieving Leadership’s Purpose, Inc. She also co-led the Queens affiliate of the National CARES Mentoring Movement and served as President of the St. John’s College Black Alumni Association. Her expertise has guided local and state policymakers as a community consultant to the New York City Council and the New York State Assembly.
In 2022, Dr. Grant ascended to one of the most prestigious leadership roles in Black Greek life when she was elected as the 26th International President and Chief Executive Officer of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Since then, she has led the organization through a remarkable period of growth, unity, and modernization—raising over $2 million in sponsorships and partnerships to strengthen Zeta’s programs, visibility, and impact.
Her leadership has earned her numerous honors, including an Honorary Doctorate from Global Oved Dei Seminary and University (2014), the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama (2016), and the World Civility Ambassador Award from I Change Nations (2019). She was also recognized among the Network Journal’s “25 Most Influential Black Women in Business” (2021) and VIP Global Magazine’s “Top 50 Women in Business” (2021).
Beyond titles and accolades, Dr. Grant is a devoted wife to Andrew Grant and mother to their two sons, Josiah and Jeremy. She continues to embody the power of purpose-driven leadership—anchored in faith, guided by service, and committed to excellence in all she does.
