Today on Capitol Hill, Dr. Stacie NC Grant, President and CEO of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, stood at the intersection of history and urgency.
Participating in a press conference and leading critical conversations alongside the Congressional Black Caucus, Dr. Grant helped frame a powerful message: Black history is not confined to the past. It is actively shaping the present — and directing the future.
In her capacity as Chair of the National Pan-Hellenic Council Council of Presidents, Dr. Grant joined congressional leaders, civil rights advocates, and fellow Divine Nine presidents to examine the pressing challenges facing Black communities across the nation. The dialogue centered on policy, equity, and collective responsibility — underscoring that Black leadership is not fragmented, but unified and strategic.
The message was clear: coordinated leadership matters.
Dr. Grant highlighted how Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated continues to move beyond conversation into action. Through the Power of S.H.E. — which focuses on Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood — and through longstanding programs and partnerships, Zeta is actively transforming and improving the quality of life for communities around the world.
From advancing health initiatives and educational access to strengthening economic empowerment and civic engagement, the sorority’s impact is both local and global.
This moment on Capitol Hill reflects more than visibility. It represents influence. It reflects a legacy organization stepping fully into modern leadership, policy engagement, and advocacy at the highest levels.
As the Divine Nine stand together and work collectively with national leaders, the commitment remains steadfast: to ensure that Black communities are not only heard — but supported, protected, and positioned to thrive.
Leadership. Advocacy. Collective Power.
And Zeta is right at the center of it.
