Dr. Stacie Grant: A Leader of Leaders

When leadership meets legacy, it looks like Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant, International Grand Basileus of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Her tenure has reignited the T.O.R.C.H. within Zeta while positioning the sisterhood as a force in civic engagement, education, and national visibility.

In 2025, Dr. Grant was elected President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council’s Council of Presidents, representing the leadership of the nine historically Black fraternities and sororities known as the Divine Nine. Her election to that role was not just ceremonial — it was an affirmation by her peers across organizations that she is a steady, respected, and visionary leader.

Her influence reaches well beyond Zeta. When Vice President Kamala Harris announced her candidacy as the Democratic presumptive nominee, her first stop was Zeta Phi Beta’s Grand Boule — at Dr. Grant’s invitation. That historic moment symbolized how far Zeta’s national standing has risen under Dr. Grant’s leadership — and how deeply she’s respected in “rooms that shape history.”

As Tri-Chair of the 61st National Convention of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), Dr. Grant continues to bridge institutions, uniting women leaders across faith, culture, and community to drive service and social impact.

Her reach extends across Capitol Hill, too. During Zeta Day on the Hill, Dr. Grant secured participation from Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Marcia L. Fudge, both of whom addressed Zeta members on issues of economic and social justice. Their appearances were more than courtesy visits — they were a reflection of Dr. Grant’s relationships, her influence, and her ability to elevate Zeta’s voice on the national stage.

“Leadership is not about position — it’s about purpose,” Dr. Grant often says. “When we lead with vision and integrity, others will follow.”

Under her direction, Zeta Phi Beta continues to set the standard for leadership among historically Black organizations, expanding partnerships, advancing health and economic equity, and amplifying women’s voices from the community to the Capitol.

Her peers know it. Her partners respect it. And her record proves it.Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant isn’t just leading Zeta — she’s shaping the future of leadership itself.
